About me

I’m a born-again believer and lover of Jesus and His Church.  A small-town country boy, I came to Christ at the age of 12.  Without a doubt, the most remarkable thing I can say about myself is that the Lord saw fit to call me to Himself and has given me the privilege of living, growing up and taking an active role in advancing the Kingdom of God from my hometown.  Greatly influenced by wonderful and loving parents and four siblings, along with a loving community of faith at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, I grew up on a dairy farm and learned early on the values of respect, hard work and integrity.

Married to Pam, the love of my life for forty-three years, she continues to be my greatest source of encouragement and support.  The Lord has also greatly blessed us with a son of whom we could not be prouder.
